Jakarta – The Habibie Center dalam rangka memperingati Ulang Tahun ke-24 menyelenggarakan Seminar Internasional tanggal 21 November 2023, bertemakan “Jokowi’s Departure: Charting Out Indonesia’s Foreign Policy Post-2024 Election” and “Regional Order-making in the Indo-Pacific and the Interplay of Elections in 2024”. Bertempat di Artotel Suites Mangkuluhur Jl. Gatot Subroto Kav. II No.3, Karet Semanggi, Jakarta Selatan.
Seminar diselenggarakan dalam 2 Sesi, Sesi Pertama dengan topik-topik dari: “Jokowi dan warisan kebijakan luar negerinya: mengkaji sejauh mana perubahan dan kesinambungan Kebijakan Luar Negeri Indonesia setelah tahun 2024” oleh Lina Alexandra, Kepala Departemen Hubungan International Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) . Lina menjelaskan, Indonesia ke depan masif fokus pada pengembangan ekonomi. Topik kedua; “Pandangan dunia kandidat dan implikasi geopolitik” oleh Makmur Keliat, Penasihat Senior, LAB45 & Dosen, Hubungan Internasional”. Beliau menjelaskan; “Kebijakan Luar Negeri Bebas Aktif dan Cara Indonesia Mengambil Peran di Indo-Pasifik” oleh Teuku Rezasyah, Associate Professor Hubungan Internasional Universitas Padjadjaran.
Sesi Kedua, tentang “Perubahan kepemimpinan nasional dan masa depan regionalisme di Asia Tenggara” oleh, Dewi Fortuna Anwar Ketua, Dewan Direksi, The Habibie Center. Topik terkait “Masa depan hubungan Lintas Selat di bawah kepemimpinan baru Taiwan” oleh Fu-Kuo Liu, Direktur Eksekutif, Pusat Studi Keamanan Taiwan, Universitas Nasional Chengchi. Sedangkan topik terkait “Masa depan hubungan Lintas Selat di bawah kepemimpinan baru Taiwan” oleh Hon-Min Yau Direktur Institut Pascasarjana Keamanan Internasional Universitas Pertahanan Nasional, Taiwan.
Peserta seminar pada kegiatan ini dihadiri dari beberapa intansi Internasional dari Perguruan tinggi dan Kedutaan sekitar 250 orang. Peserta dari Universitas Pertahanan RI dihadiri oleh 2 orang Dosen Magister Peperangan Asimetris Fakultas Strategi Pertahanan Unhan RI, yakni: Kolonel Sus Dr. Mhd Halkis dan Dr. Fauzia Cempaka.
